There is some confusion about the exact year of release of Helena Rubinstein’s Apple Blossom perfume. There are bottles that are believed to date back to the 1930s. In fact, this perfume seems to have been Rubinstein’s best-seller in the 1930s, and in 1941, Heaven Sent was released (with much but cheap publicity) to continue the success of Apple Blossom. It is possible that the 1948 release date given by some sources refers to a re-release of one of Helena Rubinstein’s most popular fragrances.
