Fred Hayman

Fred launched his company’s first fragrance, a men’s line called Giorgio Beverly Hills, in 1984. The fragrance soon became a huge hit among Hollywood’s elite and the brand’s biggest success story. He sold the rights to the Giorgio Beverly Hills fragrance and name to Avon in 1987, moving and renaming his store to Fred Hayman.
Fred Hayman debuted his first fragrance line in 1989. Decades ago, Hayman bought the Giorgio Beverly Hills property and incorporated New York and European design into his handbags. The originality of materials, unusual design solutions – all this, along with excellent quality, distinguishes Fred Hayman clothes, making them unique. Fred Hayman caused a revolution in the fashion world. Giorgio, released in 1981, was once banned from wearing in New York restaurants for being too extravagant.
Since then, he has launched several fragrance lines. Hollywood for women in 1988 celebrated the elegance of the fabulously rich culture that Hayman admired. The following year, Fred Hayman 237 for women, an exotic blend of gardenia, fruit, amber and sandalwood, paid homage to his stylish address on Rodeo Drive. The early 1990s saw the introduction of the Touch series. A woody, aromatic fragrance called Touched with Love was launched in 1991, followed by the floral Touch for Women in 1993 and Touch for Men in 1995. The scent remains a popular classic, and many regulars consider it comparable to more expensive designer perfumes. In the late 1990s, Hayman sold his store to Avon, but soon bought it back, renaming it Fred Hayman Beverly Hills. The store is exclusive and attracts many celebrities. The perfumes released by Fred Hayman to this day are still relevant. Although Fred Hayman withdrew from retail in the late 1990s, the fragrances continue to be available, although some users note differences between the vintage and modern formulas.
