Guy Laroche
From early childhood, the founder of the company Guy Laroche was a creative child. From a young age, he began his journey in a hat atelier, where he first got acquainted with the fashion world and its peculiarities. In 1955, Guy Laroche visited New York, where he began to receive the knowledge necessary for a fashion designer. The first independent collections brought him success and positive reviews from professionals and amateurs. And two years later, in 1957, the Guy Laroche haute couture house opened in Paris, which brought its special charm to the rhythm of life at that time. The fact is that the clothes from this brand had a free cut and bright colors, it was a real triumph. Further, daring necklines and minis, incredible colors and experiments were used. The brand came to the perfume Olympus in 1966, presenting its legendary perfume Fidji, which to this day is considered an unsurpassed example of perfumery. At the moment, this line is considered the brand’s calling card. Exactly ten years later, in 1977, the creation J’ai Ose was released, which finally established Guy Laroche as a full-fledged perfume company. In its works, the brand is based on the concept of femininity and touching tenderness, which is literally read in its perfumes.
The earliest Guy Laroche fragrance was created in 1966 and the latest in 2025. Guy Laroche fragrances were created in collaboration with perfumers Daniel Moliere, Alain Astori, Max Gavarry, Michel Girard, Pierre Wargnye and Josephine Catapano.
