Yves Rocher

Yves Rocher was founded in 1959 in La Gassilla, Brittany, France.
For over 60 years, it has been a botanist, collector, producer and reseller of care products, dyes and fragrances. To make the best of nature accessible to all. From plants to our skin. As a member of the UEBT (Union for Ethical Biotrade), the company is committed to using all our natural ingredients with respect for people and biodiversity.

As a pioneer in botanical beauty, Yves Rocher unleashes the power of plants for the well-being of all, with respect for nature and its biodiversity.
Yves Rocher was born in the small village of La Gassilla, in Brittany. At the age of 14, due to the death of his father, he took refuge in the forest, where he found solace. At that moment, Yves Rocher understood that nature has a positive effect on our well-being. He then decided to make a handmade cream from celandine in the attic of his house. This was the beginning of botanical beauty.
In his family home, Yves Rocher created his own laboratory. The brand was born from a love story between Mr. Yves Rocher and the nature of Brittany, its coasts, heathlands, forests and fields.
The company’s philosophy is built on love for nature, entrepreneurial spirit and Breton perseverance. To cultivate respect for nature and live in harmony with the world around us.
This vision lives on. The first Yves Rocher product was made from celandine roots.
